Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Haridwar / Rishikesh

1• Arrival in Haridwar or Rishikesh: Arrive at either Haridwar or Rishikesh, two sacred towns on the banks of the Ganges. 2• Evening Ganga Aarti (if in Haridwar): Attend the evening Ganga Aarti, a beautiful ritual of worship with lamps and chants. 3• Overnight stay: Stay in a hotel or guesthouse in Haridwar or Rishikesh.
1• Early Morning Drive: Depart for Govindghat after breakfast. This drive offers scenic views of the Himalayas, especially along the Alaknanda River. 2• Arrival in Govindghat: Reach Govindghat, a small town serving as the base for the Hemkund Sahib trek. 3• Check-in to Accommodation: Settle into a guesthouse or hotel in Govindghat. 4• Evening Leisure: Explore the surroundings or relax by the river. Overnight stay in Govindghat.
1• Breakfast: Have an early breakfast, as the trek to Hemkund Sahib can take several hours. 2• Trek to Hemkund Sahib: Begin your trek to Hemkund Sahib. The trail is steep but well-marked. The scenic beauty along the way, with lush greenery and cascading streams, will keep you motivated. 3• Visit Hemkund Sahib: Upon reaching Hemkund Sahib, visit the Gurudwara, which is situated beside a glacial lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Here, you can offer prayers, take a holy dip, and enjoy the serene environment. 4• Langar (Community Meal): Enjoy the langar (community meal) served at the Gurudwara, an integral part of Sikh tradition. 5• Return Trek: After your visit, trek back down to Govindghat. Overnight stay in Govindghat.
1• Morning Departure: After breakfast, begin your drive back to Haridwar or Rishikesh. 2• Optional Sightseeing (if time permits): If time allows, explore nearby attractions such as the Badrinath Temple or the scenic views in Rishikesh, like the Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula. 3• Departure: You can proceed with your onward journey from Haridwar or Rishikesh.
